IITA Summit!
IITA Summit is a valuable venue for connecting with both inbound operators and U.S. travel suppliers who are dedicated to growing international inbound visitation to the U.S. Summit allows me to build strong and meaningful relationships, with both buyers and suppliers, over three days.
The IITA Summit is the perfect platform for suppliers and buyers to get to know each other on a personal and professional level. It provides the perfect mix of education, networking and fun in a setting where it truly is possible to speak to every attendee one-on-one throughout the event.
To sponsor and showcase your product at Summit to Tourism professionals representing the world is more than one can hope for. This group has the ability to reach 1,000s of operators globally, something I would not be able to do or duplicate on my own.
IITA hosts a summit in February that CRUSA attends. This past February I had an opportunity to meet with more than 20 operators. They are looking for product. They want to know whats new and who to contact for contracting. One operator I met with said that they contracted with a Capital Region USA property a year or two ago and generated 600 room nights at that property as a result.
International leisure business continues to be a cornerstone in the BWH Hotel Group portfolio. IITA Summit provides an opportunity for our brand to continue reinforcing these valuable partnerships.
IITA has been a fantastic resource for Blair Hotels. The ability to connect and network with the top tier of international inbound operators provides a distinct advantage over our competitive set. The opportunities for professional development at the annual Summit are among the best in the industry. I find the topics to be relevant, current and insightful while the presenters are engaging and charismatic. Perhaps most importantly, the one-on-one appointments are productive and targeted, often resulting in a sizeable amount of business and yielding some of the highest ROI for our marketing dollars.
I have attended IITAs Summit for over 10 years. This is the best show I have attended as an inbound operator for a one-on-one chance to meet with suppliers and DMOs. Due to the smaller size of the Summit, its the best program for networking and getting our message across to as many as possible in a short time. Summit is also the place where I can get some up-to-date educational sessions that are pertinent to the industry, and just as important are the open forums for the membership to get member feedback on what direction the organization should be taking in order to meet the needs of each segment inbound operators, DMOs and suppliers. It is always best when we can work together as an organization to address and meet the obstacles of our industry rather than trying to tackle them on our own. Summit is where this interaction begins!
IITA Summit is one of the most effective Travel Trade meetings for me each year due to their excellent mix of informative educational sessions and ample meeting opportunities with suppliers. The manageable size of the event makes it possible to meet and mingle with every attendee, networking with suppliers as well as catching up with my peers on the Tour Operator side. The variety and quality of the attending suppliers has always made it a desirable show and a valuable use of time. And the format of the event is lively, innovative, forward thinking and fun.
The IITA Annual Summit offers Bonotel Exclusive Travel and myself the opportunity to network with suppliers near and far in one setting over the course of a few days. Easy to say if there wasn’t an immediate impact on ROI I wouldnt be a part of this organization nor attend year over year. Its a no brainer for Bonotel.
